When I think of songs about diamonds several come to mind, including, of course, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. I recently had my 21st birthday and I must admit it was a lovely day. My family had treated me to a trip to Paris with my husband which both of us enjoyed a great deal. We both really needed the break and the weather was fantastic except for the day of my birthday when it poured it down and the heavens really opened. My husband has said that he would purchase me a item of jewellery which I could remember for a long time to come and we would like it to be my birth stone. My birthday is fast approaching and I cannot wait until the big day. It’s silly really as I’ve not been excited about my birthday for sometime now but I can’t wait until my birthday. I’ve dropped many hints to my boyfriend about how much  I love pearls hoping that he’ll get the hint and purchase some pearl jewellery for my birthday but I doubt it!:(

Not so long ago I was rushing around my local town centre flitting from one jewellery shop to another. I had recently been proposed to and unfortunately my husband had got my ring size completely wrong! The ring was so big in fact that it slipped of my finger straight away. After days of searching online for a online shop which had everything under one roof I finally came across Marshall Ward. I find it’s difficult to get a happy medium of quality but value for money and also everything in one place. So many shops don’t do this. Although when you shop on the high street it’s a slight pain to go into shop on shop purchasing different things from different places but it isn’t the end of the world. The problem with online shopping is that although it’s easier to go from one site to another choosing your products you have to pay postage on each individual item as you’ve gone to different websites which can amount to a lot of your hard earned money.

I love shopping for birthday presents using comparison sites. I love it even more when it’s my birthday presents. My birthday isn’t for a few months yet but one can never start too soon! I’m a traditional girl, I like to receive flower.  I always buy myself a gift as well, let’s face it it’s a great excuse! (I do this at Christmas, also.)
