Entry Title: “Resorts on Bull Shoals Lake ~ Free Vacation Guide”
Entry:
“Welcome to the Ozark Mountains and the beautiful Buffalo River, Bull Shoals Lake and White River Area, a favorite family vacation and boating destination in north central Arkansas.
Created by damming the White River, Bull Shoals Lake is a magnificent body of clear blue water surrounded by 1,000 miles of beautiful mountain shoreline and home to numerous state parks.
The White River is well known for world class fly fishing due to the introduction of cold water trout that thrive in the tailwaters of the Bull Shoals Dam. The Buffalo River is famous as the country’s first National River. Protected by our park service, the Buffalo remains a free flowing river to this day, preserved in its original scenic beauty.
You don’t have to go to Florida or the Grand Banks for water sports and great fishing! Centered in the heart of the Ozarks; Norfork Lake, Bull Shoals Lake, the Buffalo, White and Norfork River’s area offers world class scenery, fishing, golf, scuba diving, river floats, and several major cave systems to explore. Arts, crafts, antiques and flea markets and plenty of Live entertainment can be found in small towns all over the Ozarks.
Bordered on the north, northeast and west by the waters of Bull Shoals Lake, the town of Bull Shoals is nearly a peninsula. The White River flows alongside the town on the east, and the town is just north of the Buffalo National River 34 miles. Surrounded by 2 million acres of wilderneness. No crowds, no noise, just peaceful nature in a unspoiled, unhurried atmosphere.
Selecting a resort may not be easy. Please see this FREE list of the finest accommodations in our area including resorts on Norfork Lake, Bull Shoals Lake, the Buffalo, White and Norfork Rivers.

See the Bull Shoals Lake / White River Chamber of Commerce for more information. We encourage all our citizens and visitors to buy from members of our local Chamber of Commerce.

Two girls and their dad taking a fun vacation down in Florida and enjoying the fun beaches and water parks, swimming pools, and other attractions for kids and families. We found a great place to stay in Ormond Beach Florida very close to Daytona Beach. We were playing in the ocean waters along the coastal shoreline between Palm Coast FL and South Daytona Beach. We explored miles of the beach while riding on the 4 wheeler.
FDR Resort at Runaway Bay Jamaica is a beautiful resort. The beauty of FDR Resort is also reflected in the Jamaicans who work there with many having more than 10 years of service. Meet Irwin, who has put 6 children through school making palm leaf baskets and hats. This is the real Jamaican.
Delta Lodge offers cozy Northern Wisconsin lake cabins near the south shore of Lake Superior and Bayfield, Wisconsin. Delta Lodge is a Northwest Wisconsin family-friendly and pet-friendly vacation resort featuring cottages with full kitchens, baths, screened porches, many with decks and fireplaces, boats, docks and fire pits for campfires.
SUNNY today, snorkeling time. The water colors are unbelievable, I can’t describe all the shades of blue, but it’s pretty amazing. The water looks like in the video about arriving in Jamaica, except now we are in it surrounded by fish.
Vacation Nannies at Franklyn D Resort Jamaica – The only way to travel with kids.
If you like camping, it’s fun to do it in style. So if you want to combine the fun of roughing it against the backdrop of California’s Riviera, you know what you do?
